Well, no more babies presented themselves last night so six we have and six we're happy with. All six puppies are thriving, getting big fat bellies and growing already! Porsche is a wonderful mom and once she settles down and allows herself to get some real rest, she'll be perfect!

Woohoo! Six is a nice round number. Interesting that they are all brindles. Was Porsche's dam brindle?

ReplyDeleteYes, Dawn, Porsche's dam was brindle - dark like she is. I'm guessing from this litter that she'll be dominant brindle. On the upside, though it means no red puppies for me this go-round, all of these guys will be able to produce red puppies if they're bred.
